Summer in the Tatras

Summer brings throbbing life of wild nature to the Tatras and endless possibilities of tourist and cycle routes that stretch across the whole mountain range of the High and Low Tatras. Discover unique nature, waterfalls, mountain valleys and sharp peaks of national parks. The Tatras are the smallest grand mountains in the heart of Europe.

Skiing in the Tatras

The High Tatras – a top resort located in a beautiful alpine environment, offering 24 km of ski slopes, great conditions for winter sports and alpine hiking at altitudes over 2,000 m. The transport capacity of 20 cable cars and ski lifts in resorts Tatranská Lomnica, Štrbské Pleso and Starý Smokovec is 21,385 people per hour. And a modern snow-making system guarantees snow for 5 months a year. Traditional modern chairlifts, a comfortable 15-person gondola, the highest located ski slope in Lomnické sedlo (2,190 m), gastronomy experiences, flawless relaxation and first-class customer service on Mt. Lomnický štít at the altitude of 2,634 m guarantee unforgettable experiences all year round.

Jasná Low Tatras – the largest ski arena in Slovakia offering 46 kilometres of ski slopes and various levels of difficulty is a real paradise for skiers, snowboarders, freeriders and families with children. 30 cable cars and ski lifts with the total transport capacity of 31,704 people per hour and the most modern transport system in the world (Funitel cable car, Twinliner automated funicular and a 15-person gondola) connect northern and southern slopes of the second highest mountain of the Low Tatras – Mt. Chopok. 27 km of slopes with man-made snow, an iconic building of Rotunda located at the altitude of 2,004 m and offering beautiful views of the High Tatras and regions of Liptov and Horehronie, complex gastronomy services, entertainment day and night, free car parks, ski schools, sports shops and ski rentals. All of that set the trend in tourism and make the Low Tatras and the region of Liptov the most popular and most visited destination in Slovakia.

We will be happy to arrange ski passes, tickets to Tatralandia, the cable car to Mt. Lomnický štít or the funicular to Hrebienok for you.
